About this role
We are seeking a hungry, scrappy, and energetic Account Executive to work directly with our CEO/co-founder and grow Agave from $Xm ARR to $XXm ARR+. This is a career-defining role at a fast-growing, early-stage startup that is already profitable and cash-flow positive with 4XX+ customers.
You will own the day-to-day execution of our full sales cycle, from defining ICPs and GTM strategy to pricing details and contract terms. You'll be the expert on our customers' needs, with your input directly shaping sprint planning and new features alongside our CTO.
You'll step into a sales motion that's already working well, with an existing pipeline, refined collateral, meeting templates, a tidy CRM, and SMEs to run demos. Strong inbound and referrals will be yours to convert at a high rate, while you build our outbound motion as we expand into new construction segments.
This is not a 9-to-5 coin-operated sales role. You will write a better playbook, not just execute an existing one. Your potential for impact will extend far beyond the ARR you close, and you'll have a front-row seat to the good and bad of building a company from the ground up.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience closing deals in a quota-carrying role at a B2B SaaS company
- Ideally, experience selling into the construction industry
- Hungry, scrappy, and energetic mindset with a desire to bet on a career-defining role
- Ability to ramp quickly by stepping into a sales motion that is already working well
- Comfortable working directly with founders and taking ownership of revenue strategy
- Proven track record of converting inbound leads and building outbound pipelines
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day execution of the full sales cycle from lead to close
- Work with the CEO/co-founder on all aspects of revenue, including defining ICPs, GTM strategy, pricing, and contract terms
- Become the expert on customer needs and provide input to the CTO for sprint planning and new features
- Convert strong inbound leads and referrals at a high rate
- Build and execute an outbound sales motion as the product expands into new construction segments
- Refine and improve existing sales collateral, meeting templates, and CRM processes
- Collaborate with SMEs to run demos and address domain-specific customer nuances
