We’re looking for a creative storyteller to own and evolve our social media presence while contributing to broader content initiatives. This role suits someone fluent in social content who enjoys case studies, thought leadership articles, and podcasts. You’ll work closely with founders, marketing team, and stakeholders to bring Merge’s voice to life across channels.
Day-to-day involves owning social media growth through new post formats, narratives, and emerging channels. Drive video content strategy for distribution across social, LLMs, and newsletters. Shape executive LinkedIn presence by developing personal brands and aligned content strategies.
Support customer case studies end-to-end from interviews to approvals, experiment with new mediums like podcasts or books, and build employer brand content through bylines and employee spotlights. Comfortable cross-functionally, you'll manage multiple streams with a creative, experimental mindset. Leverage AI to automate content workflows for efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for a company (B2B and/or SaaS experience is a plus)
- Strong writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone across formats and audiences
- Creative mindset paired with willingness to experiment and learn quickly
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple content streams at once
- Hands-on experience with video or visual content creation (hands-on or through collaboration)
- Desire to use AI to automate content creation, editing, or ideation workflows
Responsibilities
- Own and grow Merge’s social media presence by experimenting with new post formats, narratives, and emerging social channels
- Drive video content strategy for distribution across social channels, LLMs, email newsletters, and more
- Shape executive team presence on LinkedIn by developing their personal brands and crafting aligned content strategies
- Support customer case studies by managing the process end-to-end from interviewing stakeholders to securing approvals
- Experiment with new content mediums by brainstorming and developing ideas like recurring podcasts or books
- Build content that boosts employer brand through bylines with colleagues and new series spotlighting employees
