About this role

LatchBio is building the ubiquitous cloud platform to store, visualize and analyze data from biological experiments. We seek an ambitious Associate Account Executive (AAE) to pioneer software in biology. Solve the data bottleneck where biotech data increased 10,000x and AI in biopharma grows at 54% CAGR.

The AAE creates predictable lead generation as a cornerstone of our sales machine. Find market opportunities, execute outreach campaigns, and book meetings systematically. Refine ICP with product and sales teams while orchestrating personalized ABM campaigns.

Join 22 engineers and salespeople working six days a week in person in Mission Bay, SF. Collaborate closely with the Business Development Team including Blanchard, Chris, Mana and Kyle. Work alongside Founders Alfredo, Kyle, Kenny, plus Bioinformatics and Product teams.

Write and refine messaging based on outreach data, navigate lead responses, and conduct hot-handoffs to AEs. Travel frequently to life sciences conferences worldwide. Thrive in a high-performance environment with unlimited PTO and ambitious equity incentives.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience as a BDR or AE at an early-stage cloud or software company
  • Background in biology either in school or professionally
  • Evidence of exceptional performance at prior jobs
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts plainly
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and best practices
  • Desire to excel at sales

Responsibilities

  • Refine ICP alongside product and sales team
  • Orchestrate ABM campaigns personalized to ICPs
  • Write and refine messaging frequently based on outreach data
  • Navigate and work responses from leads to warm them up for qualification meetings
  • Book demos and conduct hot-handoffs to AEs to close opportunities
  • Travel frequently to life sciences conferences around the world
