About this role

Listen Labs is hiring its first Content Marketing Lead to work directly with the Head of Marketing and scale the company from $XXM to $100M+ ARR. The role blends hands-on craft with strategic ownership, including customer interviews, script writing, research papers, and on-camera work when needed.

Day-to-day work centers on owning content strategy across case studies, webinars, blogs, and social channels while turning complex topics into clear stories. You will test new formats such as video and podcasts, then quickly scale what performs using performance data.

The company is entirely product-led with a world-class team from Jane Street, Twitter, Stripe, and Sequoia-backed startups. It has achieved rapid growth, enterprise wins at Google, Microsoft, Nestlé, and P&G, plus a viral product that drives daily inbound from Fortune 500s.

This early-stage role offers the chance to shape narratives alongside founders, run tight experiments, and build content functions from the ground up while backed by Sequoia Capital, Ribbit, and Conviction.

Requirements

  • Min. 8+ years in B2B SaaS content, product marketing, editorial, or brand storytelling roles
  • Comfort with video, social-first content, and customer storytelling
  • Strong writer, storyteller, and editor with excellent taste
  • Curious and articulate across multiple content formats, including video
  • Fast, scrappy, and energized by early-stage ambiguity
  • Creative and metrics-driven
  • Motivated by craft, impact, and building something from the ground up

Responsibilities

  • Own content strategy and execution across case studies, webinars, blogs, and social
  • Create content researchers love that shows how Listen helps them do better work
  • Turn complex topics into clear, compelling stories and standout B2B content
  • Write high-quality assets including whitepapers, reports, launch materials, and scripts
  • Interview customers and translate insights into content that drives credibility and demand
  • Test and scale new formats including video, webinars, podcasts, and social-first content
  • Partner with founders and internal teams to shape narratives and bring ideas to market
  • Use performance data to iterate quickly and scale what works
