About this role
As Product Marketing Manager, Cybersecurity at OpenAI, you will define how frontier AI reaches cyber defenders through the Daybreak initiative. The role focuses on helping defenders see risk earlier, act sooner, and build software that is resilient by design. You will shape narratives around Trusted Access for Cyber and Codex Security for senior security leaders.
You will own positioning and messaging while building field-ready assets such as first-call decks, use-case libraries, and proof-point packages. Daily work includes translating model capabilities into clear GTM language and coordinating launches across Product, Research, and Partnerships teams. Campaigns will span webinars, roundtables, conferences, and account-based motions.
The position sits within OpenAI’s Marketing team, which drives awareness and usage of AI products among core audiences. Work occurs in a hybrid model with three days per week in the San Francisco office. Cross-functional collaboration keeps priorities, launch readiness, and executive updates aligned across Security, Policy, and GTM functions.
Success requires maintaining high standards for accuracy, governance, and responsible marketing in a fast-moving category. The role turns customer deployments and partner feedback into approved stories and repeatable industry use cases. This work directly supports OpenAI’s mission of responsible and widespread AI adoption.
