About this role
Informa Festivals combines prestigious events like Cannes Lions, Black Hat, Money20/20, GDC, and London Tech Week with marketing intelligence platforms. We're seeking a skilled Demand Generation Manager to drive sponsor awareness and generate leads for Black Hat Events, Informa's flagship cybersecurity event series. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to boost sponsor participation and revenue growth.
Design and implement demand generation strategies for Black Hat global events, including the USA flagship and regional editions. Drive market awareness through multi-channel campaigns, digital initiatives like content marketing, email, and webinars. Create targeted campaigns for new prospects, existing customers, and sponsor segments.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to develop sales prospectuses, whitepapers, and reports. Work with event coordinators on sponsor programs and activations. Implement lead scoring, qualification, and track campaign performance using data analytics.
Reports to Senior Director, Marketing – Black Hat Events, with position based in San Francisco or Santa Monica. Requirements
- Proven experience in demand generation and B2B marketing
- Strong background in digital marketing and campaign management
- Demonstrable success managing direct reports
- Solid understanding of the technology and cybersecurity industry
- Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
- Proven track record of driving lead generation and revenue growth
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies for Black Hat global events, including the flagship USA event and regional editions
- Drive market awareness and lead generation through multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams to create sales prospectuses, whitepapers, reports and other materials
- Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives including content marketing, email campaigns, and webinars
- Create targeted campaigns to engage new prospects, existing customers and develop personalized marketing experiences for different sponsor segments
- Work with event coordinators to support execution of sponsor programs and activations
- Implement and manage lead scoring and qualification processes for prospective sponsors
- Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using data analytics to generate first-party data and insights
