About this role
Fastly’s edge cloud platform enables customers to create great digital experiences quickly, securely, and reliably by processing applications at the Internet's edge. Customers include Vimeo, Pinterest, The New York Times, and GitHub. The Business Systems team seeks a Staff Product Owner, Sales to integrate strategic thinking and drive innovation.
Collaborate with SMEs, senior leaders, and stakeholders to understand Sales goals and ensure project outcomes meet needs. Analyze current Sales processes and implement solutions to automate and improve efficiency using Sales technology tools. Recommend optimizations as the business scales across Account Executives, SDRs, Partners, and Operations.
Be the go-to person for Sales technology platforms' implementation and daily operations. Translate business requirements into solution design documents and gain stakeholder approvals. Partner with Account Executives, SDRs, Analytics, and developers to build a unified Sales data view.
Write detailed test scripts and manage User Acceptance Testing for reliable solutions. Identify time-consuming processes and build scalable automations. Thrive in a dynamic environment managing fast-changing priorities to deliver impactful results.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Product Owner in the Go-To-Market Revenue domain
- Experience with business analysis and business process improvement in a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment
- Great at writing requirements, user stories, strong acceptance criteria and articulating strategies
- Sales technology stack experience for automation, analytics and intelligence processes
- Experience in process and system development with Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Outreach, Salesloft, Xactly, Zendesk, Gainsight, and Slack Apps
- Experience in various methodologies for planning and executing application development, enhancement or support
- Self-motivated, creative with analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities

- Understand business motions for Account Executives, SDRs, Partners, and Operations to recommend scalable solutions
- Serve as the go-to person for implementation and day-to-day operation of Sales technology platforms

- Write detailed test scripts and manage User Acceptance Testing
- Collaborate with Sales teams, Analytics and technology teams to build unified Sales data view
- Partner with developers and program managers to establish timelines and deliver projects
