Bridge commercial strategy and operations as a business-first operator, ensuring capabilities and discipline for ambitious goals. Partner with Product, Finance, People, and Legal to centralize Business Operations work streams. Free executives from day-to-day ops, making teams more than the sum of their parts.

Translate commercial strategy into operational strategy at scale, serving as strategic advisor to executives. Lead initiatives improving how the company operates with greater accountability and alignment. Dive into financial models, total addressable market calculations, and cross-functional quarterly planning processes.

Build 0 to 1 capabilities with founder-mode energy, designing scalable processes and tools. Drive BizOps to streamline processes, track performance, and resolve bottlenecks. Make outsized impact on a leading LGBTQ+ platform through productizing use cases and business expansion.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a business-oriented leader with 4-10 years of experience in a combination of strategic and operational roles
  • Comfortable assessing strategy at 10,000 feet and deep in financial models calculating total addressable market
  • Experience running cross-functional quarterly planning processes
  • Ability to bridge commercial strategy and operations with operational discipline
  • Commercially minded operator thriving at the intersection of strategy, operations, business, and culture
  • Founder-mode energy for building 0 to 1 capabilities and processes

Responsibilities

  • Translate Grindr’s commercial strategy into a clear operational strategy enabling execution at scale
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the executive team
  • Lead initiatives that improve how the company operates, raising accountability, alignment, and management discipline
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and launch new business capabilities from the ground up
  • Build out the BizOps function to streamline processes, create ownership, and increase executive leverage
  • Drive operational planning, performance tracking, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, decentralization issues, and execution gaps
