About this role
As an Account Executive at Docusign, you are a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing new business or expanding our footprint in current customers within an assigned vertical market or geographic territory. You sell into geographical regions or verticals based on relevant experience, acquiring new customers or selling additional use cases, products, and services.
Day-to-day, you drive success by achieving individual sales quotas, developing and negotiating enterprise-level proposals and contracts, and crafting customized sales presentations and product demonstrations delivered by phone or online. You proactively manage deals, forecast sales activity and revenue accurately through proper use of sales tools, and collaborate with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.
This individual contributor role reports to the Regional Vice President, Commercial Sales and operates in a hybrid environment, dividing time between in-office (minimum 2 days per week) and remote work. You will engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, and more to drive adoption and usage.

Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in an Account Executive role or equivalent quota-carrying role
- 3+ years SaaS sales experience (preferred)
- Experience selling web-based products/services (preferred)
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company) in past positions (preferred)
- Proficient computer application skills including Salesforce.com, Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive), Tableau (preferred)
- Travel as necessary, typically 10% (preferred)
