At Quizlet, our $1B+ learning platform serves tens of millions of students monthly, including two-thirds of U.S. high schoolers and half of college students, powering over 2 billion interactions. The Head of Lifecycle Marketing leads efforts to drive customer engagement and retention through owned channels. This role reports to the Director of Growth Marketing.

You will grow activation, engagement, retention, and subscriptions via Braze-run channels, managing triggered and seasonal programs to drive incremental sessions and monthly active users. Shape campaigns using personalized data, timely targeting, and engaging copy and creative. Use data to evaluate opportunities, prioritize tickets, and analyze campaign effectiveness.

The Lifecycle Marketing team works cross-functionally with product marketing, brand, product, and engineering. Establish performance baselines and best practices across email, push, SMS, and onsite channels. Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering to unlock new triggered and ad hoc opportunities.

Test and learn to create playbooks for scaling winning initiatives. Share learnings and proposals in well-synthesized decks, breaking down thinking and soliciting feedback. Inspire and mentor team members to grow their expertise in lifecycle marketing.

This onsite position requires a minimum of three days per week in the San Francisco office: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, fostering team collaboration and growth.

Requirements

  • Strategic mindset and deep understanding of customer behavior to evaluate opportunities
  • Confident using data to shape campaign structures, strategies, and analyze effectiveness
  • Experience managing email, push, SMS, and onsite channels
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, data science, and engineering teams
  • Excellent communicator who shares learnings in well-synthesized decks and documents
  • Makes quick decisions and interprets results to advance business understanding
  • Inspires and mentors team members in technical and strategic lifecycle marketing expertise
  • Familiarity with Braze for triggered and ad hoc campaigns
