About this role

As a Senior Account Executive on our Financial Services team, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to renewals, operating as a relentless hunter to identify, prioritize, and close new business. Typical deal sizes range from $50K to $500K annually, and you will also manage 8-14 customer accounts alongside our Customer Success team.

Day-to-day, you will work directly with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives to forge human connections between consumers and the brands they love. You will act as a trusted commercial and strategic advisor, driving value-first conversations and helping buyers navigate large SaaS investments across distributed, global organizations.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of New Business sales experience selling SaaS solutions that involve technically integrated products
  • Excel at generating and managing your own pipeline, thinking strategically and creatively to drive desired outcomes through effective and persistent outreach
  • Your customers describe your selling as consultative and human; you are a natural storyteller and attentive listener
  • Demonstrate the mechanics of a value-first conversation, including strong discovery, understanding business pain, desired outcomes, and how Braze provides differentiated value
  • Analytical and data-driven, with an approach grounded in examples, testing, and iterating, and a desire to understand complex systems and concepts
  • Know how to help buyers navigate large SaaS investments, identifying and influencing key stakeholders among many
  • Comfortable learning new things (tech, process, people) and navigating high-change environments in a fast-growth company
  • Bonus if you have sold to or worked for Financial Services, or have experience with Growth/Marketing teams, analytics, CRM, marketing automation, data storage/agility, or content marketing solutions

  • Help buyers navigate large SaaS investments, including mobilizing distributed, global organizations and accelerating cycles
