In this role, you will develop messaging and positioning for Stripe products or user segments, and craft the narrative for how our products deliver value to customers. You will work closely with product, partnerships, and partner marketing teams to build a marketing strategy that drives awareness, demand, and usage.

Our Product Marketing team works across the entire product lifecycle—from shaping the product to driving launch and commercialization to growing adoption post-launch. You will partner with Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, Campaigns, and Product and Engineering in a highly cross-functional environment.

You will have the opportunity to shape the roadmap for critical products such as Payments Intelligence, Payouts, Tax, Billing, and Link, and develop go-to-market strategy for key segments like Enterprises and Startups. Requirements

  • 7+ years of prior product marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience
  • Ability to leverage data to proactively identify opportunities and drive impactful results
  • Deep empathy for users and ability to adapt communication to reach and engage diverse audiences
  • Strong project management skills to manage highly interdependent, complex projects and keep various work streams on track
  • Passion for technology and ability to explain technical concepts in ways everyday people can understand
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams in a fast-moving, hyper-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop messaging and positioning for Stripe products or user segments, creating campaign-level content and sales enablement assets
  • Work closely with product, partnerships, and partner marketing teams to build a marketing strategy that drives awareness, demand, and usage of products
  • Enable sales teams to understand the value of our products and competitive solutions
  • Lead go-to-market launches for new product features, coordinating across sales, campaigns, and demand generation
  • Generate customer insights through data analysis and user research to inform product strategy and go-to-market plans
  • Drive product adoption and growth post-launch by engaging teams across sales, partnerships, and marketing
