The Regional Vice President leads a team of Enterprise Account Executives, running a regional plan and building the territory. This front-line sales leader develops Account Executives, implements a strong sales methodology, and works complex enterprise sales cycles focused on Harness software and services.

Over the past year, Harness powered 185M deployments, 82M builds, and helped manage $2.8B in cloud spend for customers like United Airlines and Morningstar. Teams accelerate releases by up to 75%, reduce cloud costs by 60%, and achieve 10x DevOps efficiency using the platform.

With a global team across 14 offices and 25 countries, Harness shapes the future of AI software delivery. The role involves recruiting and building the California sales team while ensuring customer success in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years formal sales leadership experience building and leading high performance sales teams
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Consistent overachievement in previous roles
  • Significant enterprise sales and strategic customer development experience
  • Experience practicing and implementing a sales methodology, such as MEDDPICC
  • Track record in closing large, complex deals across verticals in the Fortune 500
  • History of accurate forecasting and business reporting
  • Experience in working with Salesforce and other sales oriented tracking tools

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional plan
