We are seeking a highly motivated Growth Enterprise Account Executive to identify and close new business opportunities with enterprise-level clients of 1k to 5k employees. You will implement a land and expand strategy to grow and maintain long-term client relationships. This role drives sales outcomes in a dynamic environment.

You will prospect and qualify new enterprise business and upsell opportunities within your assigned territory. Coordinate with the Udemy Business team including Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, Deal Desk, Legal, and key executives. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to position solutions as a strategic fit.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets while leading negotiations on complex deals. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitor activities to share insights. Thrive as a hunter and closer in a fast-paced sales team focused on territory success.

Requirements

  • Skilled in creative problem-solving techniques to address client needs, overcome obstacles, and drive sales outcomes
  • Demonstrate strong willingness to learn, adapt, and incorporate feedback to enhance strategies and achieve performance targets
  • Exhibit natural curiosity and hunger for knowledge to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis
  • Possess proactive outbound mindset to identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships, and communicate value supported by research and rigor
  • Highly motivated, over-achieving hunter and closer who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Minimum of 5+ years of closing experience in B2B Enterprise sales (SaaS experience preferred) or equivalent
  • Success in opportunity creation and full funnel management of many opportunities
  • Proven history of exceeding targets in selling licenses/products/subscriptions to Enterprise organizations with ownership of all aspects of territory management

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise-level business and upsell opportunities within assigned territory
  • Coordinate with Udemy Business team (Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, Deal Desk, Legal, key executives) to ensure territory success, customer satisfaction, expansion and retention
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand clients' business objectives and challenges and effectively position solutions as a strategic fit
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Lead negotiations and close complex sales deals, ensuring contracts are executed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, customer feedback and competitor activities, then relay and share insights with the team
