About this role

Twitch is the world’s biggest live streaming service, with global communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more. Designers at Twitch are involved in development from project conception all the way through execution and iteration. You will do hands-on research and collaborate closely with engineers.

If you champion designing for humans and create playful and caring software for customers, you will flourish on this team. Collaborate with cross-functional development teams of product managers, engineers, and designers. Learn from streamers and viewers about how they use services and their desires to accomplish more.

Think creatively about solving problems that sustain streamers’ communities. Work from Twitch’s headquarters in San Francisco or hub locations in Seattle, Irvine, or New York City. Team up with coworkers eager to collaborate and solve problems together.

Combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and improve designs. Present work in design reviews and feedback sessions. Mentor junior designers and instill best practices while giving back to the design community.

Requirements

Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
5+ years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences
Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills including experience with prototyping mobile experiences
Demonstrated skills collaborating closely with other designers, researchers, product managers and engineers
Demonstrated ability to impact product strategy and roadmaps
An aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident decisions
Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software or products
