San Francisco, US · Full-time · $196,000 – $248,000

About this role

Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has built the Waymo Driver, powering fully autonomous ride-hail service. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips after driving over 100 million miles on public roads.

Design at Waymo focuses on the total experience—how the product works, feels, and makes new technology accessible for everyone. UX Designers build intuitive, delightful experiences for riders and powerful tools for fleet operations and engineers. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to a Manager of UX Design.

The team is highly multidisciplinary, including UX Designers, User and Market Researchers, UX Engineers, Content Designers, Industrial Designers, CAD Designers, Studio Engineers, and Technical Artists.
