About this role

We’re hiring a Principal Product Designer to help shape the future of financial peace of mind for millions. In this role, you will lead the design vision for high-impact, member-facing experiences that set a new standard in consumer fintech.

You will set the design vision for complex, cross-functional initiatives, defining strategic direction and ensuring alignment with member needs and business goals. You’ll leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, and prototyping, while simplifying ambiguous problems into elegant, accessible solutions.

You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Analytics to drive holistic, user-centered strategies and measurable outcomes. This is a high-ownership role where you thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity through strategy and vision.

You’ll lead through influence, providing design leadership and mentorship across teams without formal people management. Your work will elevate design quality at scale and raise the bar for execution across the organization.

Requirements

  • A strategic, high-impact portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, clear design strategy, and excellent craft across complex digital experiences.
  • A track record of designing and shipping impactful consumer products at scale across mobile and web.
  • Expertise in tools like Figma and modern prototyping workflows, including the effective use of AI-powered design tools.
  • Experience working with and evolving design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
  • High ownership and autonomy to take a product vision from concept through execution while maintaining high design quality.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills that align teams, influence stakeholders, and bring ideas to life.
  • A deep commitment to creating intuitive, thoughtful experiences that genuinely improve people's financial lives.
