Join our small, capital-efficient team generating $500K ARR per employee to define the Voice AI industry.

As founding Enterprise Account Executive, own a book of strategic accounts and drive revenue across Voice AI infrastructure offerings. Generate pipeline in target accounts, develop strong champions, lead model evaluations, and win over enterprise engineering and product leaders. Thrive on building pipeline from scratch while working with technical buyers on superior performance and developer experience.

This cross-functional role partners closely with Applied AI, Research, Engineering, Marketing, and Deployment teams to shape go-to-market strategy. Operate in a true meritocracy with no heavy planning, approval processes, or gatekeeping on tools and information. Stay lean, move fast, and give every person outsized ownership and impact.

Avoid bureaucracy and slow-moving orgs where work disappears—solve the most interesting problems at massive scale while knowing everyone's name. Requirements

  • Strong background in enterprise infrastructure or API sales
  • Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch via outbound prospecting
  • Experience working with technical buyers on products excelling in performance and developer experience
  • Track record developing champions and engaging C-level technical decision-makers
  • Skill in positioning solutions against competitors with clear differentiation
  • Comfort leading technical evaluations like model benchmarks and proofs of concept
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, research, and product teams
  • Deep interest in Voice AI as a core technology, not just a trend

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of enterprise accounts, leading potential customers across the full sales cycle from prospecting through initial production rollout
  • Generate pipeline through proactive, creative outbound including personalized outreach, conferences, exclusive events, and warm introductions
  • Craft outbound communications that deliver real value like custom benchmarks, competitive insights, and use-case-specific demos
  • Develop authentic champions within target accounts who advocate for AssemblyAI internally
  • Engage multiple leadership stakeholders including CTO, CPO, VP Engineering, VP Product, and VP of AI to build consensus and de-risk deals
  • Position AssemblyAI’s value and pricing against alternatives with quantitative and qualitative differentiation
  • Lead model evaluations and win over enterprise engineering and product leaders
  • Drive urgency through pilots, proofs of concept, and strategic partnerships
