We’re seeking a full-stack IC Product Design Lead to join our Design team and lead Growth and Activation. This ground-floor role in a design-driven company provides autonomy, ownership, and impact across the product. Evolve our design process, own projects, and build a diverse team championing users’ voices.

Deeply understand customers’ needs, business objectives, and industry state to create paradigm-changing experiences. Define problems, explore solutions with thoughtful designs, and ideate, design, launch products advancing our mission. Establish high standards for visual polish and intuitive interactions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, operations, sales, and marketing to ship scalable experiences. Optimize execution velocity, make tradeoffs, and contribute to a robust design system. Join a hyper-collaborative environment focused on incredible daily experiences.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience as a Product Designer
  • Demonstrated impact on product strategy and customer experience, preferably in Fintech or Consumer Tech
  • Outstanding UX capabilities and strong visual design competency, including visual, UI/UX, copywriting, and systems design
  • Experience with and high bar for visual polish and intuitive, simple design patterns
  • Passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging solutions
  • Innate understanding of end-to-end design process from identifying customer needs to delivering exceptional experiences
  • Ability to apply consumer insights and metrics

Responsibilities

  • Clearly define customer and business problems and explore broad-to-narrow solutions with thoughtful designs
  • Ideate, design, launch, and improve products to advance Collective’s mission
  • Work with cross-functional product development teams to ship innovative, well-crafted experiences for scale
  • Optimize for execution velocity while maintaining high quality and making tradeoffs between design choices and resources
  • Contribute to growing a robust and refined design system
