About this role

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. We are building out Finance business operations to drive disciplined execution of both organic and inorganic initiatives, including M&A integration and new product initiatives.

This strategy-to-execution role requires strong judgment and cross-functional leadership in ambiguous, high-stakes environments. You will sit at the center of finance integration execution, owning NPI financial readiness, and the intake and governance layer that connects Finance to the company's most strategic initiatives.

You will partner with Finance SMEs, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure financial workflows are defined, systems are ready for launch, and risks are surfaced early. As the operating backbone for Finance, you will ensure acquisitions integrate seamlessly, new products launch cleanly, and work is prioritized with rigor and transparency.

As the company scales, the volume and complexity of strategic initiatives continues to increase, offering you the opportunity to establish a centralized operating model that drives discipline, scalability, and strong business results across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • Strong judgment and ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership and ability to build strong relationships with product and business leaders.
  • Experience translating ambiguous product requirements into clear financial implications and execution plans.
  • Track record of managing multiple complex, cross-functional programs simultaneously with disciplined execution.
  • Deep understanding of finance integration processes including M&A diligence and post-close integration.
  • Ability to design and implement governance, reporting, and value realization mechanisms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills for leadership readouts on integration status.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central Finance lead for new product initiatives and large strategic programs, building strong working relationships with key product and business leaders.
  • Support end-to-end Finance integration across global acquisitions, from integration strategy during diligence through post-close execution.
  • Partner with Finance SMEs, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to define financial workflows, ensure systems and processes are ready, and surface risks and tradeoffs early.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and manage key dependencies with IT/Systems, HR, and Legal.
  • Build integrated finance roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs, and establish governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks.
  • Codify repeatable finance integration playbooks to improve speed, quality, and predictability across acquisitions.
  • Track implementation and ensure launches do not create downstream operational or technical debt.
  • Act as the control tower across concurrent initiatives, sequencing and resourcing work appropriately across teams.
