About this role

Valerie Health builds the ML infrastructure and product layers that connect patients and providers at scale. Our technical stack combines vision models to interpret unstructured healthcare data, language and speech models for automated communications, computer-use automation, and LLM-based workflows. We build a deep clinical ontology to drive intelligent interactions.

Product engineers own all product and technical layers of our stack, acting as hybrid PMs and Eng. You'll take products from inception to full rollout, shipping fast and well while applying strong product judgment. You care about product craft for its own sake and exhibit strong product taste.

Our team brings over a decade of experience from Stripe, Uber, and Bridge, combining deep expertise in ML systems, large-scale infrastructure, and product design. You will work alongside engineers who ship fast and ship well, with a focus on product craft. This environment fosters innovation and ownership.

This role offers the opportunity to own the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment. You will directly impact how patients and providers connect at scale through innovative ML-driven solutions. Your work will shape the future of automated healthcare communications.

Requirements

Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of shipping high-quality code quickly.
Strong product judgment and taste, with a deep care for product craft.
Experience owning product features from inception to full rollout.
Familiarity with ML infrastructure and pipelines, particularly in healthcare or unstructured data.
Ability to work with vision models, language models, or speech models in production.
Comfort operating as a hybrid product manager and engineer, driving both technical and product decisions.
