At Google, Staff UX Designers focus on the user and weave space, typography, color, and iconography to help people successfully navigate products while ensuring they are beautiful and accessible. You will join a multi-disciplinary UX team to create industry-leading experiences for Vertex AI.

You will rely on user-centered design methods to craft experiences from concept to execution. The role involves contributing to all aspects of visual design and helping define the next generation of Vertex AI's visual identity in the Agent Era.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and design partners to leverage user insights and evolve the Google design language. Vertex AI offers an end-to-end Agent product suite powered by Gemini models and other industry-leading technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product design or UX.
Portfolio, website, or relevant link to work included in resume with viewable access.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists and Product Managers.
Experience building design systems.
Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and direct contributions.
Excellent UX visual design and product design skills across a broad set of software products and user personas.
