Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance, bringing together workforce systems like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. The Talent Management suite supports the entire employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, performance, and learning management.

This engineering role focuses on architecting and building the product infrastructure required to connect all these products together. You will build a suite of core products and services that enable the next generation of products to integrate and scale.

You will work closely with both product teams and platform teams to build interconnected and scalable solutions. Collaborating across product teams, you will enable them to produce quality software shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity.

You will help shape the product infrastructure used by Rippling, driving architectural decisions and overseeing the complete product delivery lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, lead, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on building large-scale platforms for web and mobile applications
Proven expertise in developing complex, distributed services using languages such as Python, Golang, or Java
Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus
A commitment to owning the product lifecycle and solving real-world problems for customers
Passionate about working in a product-focused environment with a deep commitment to customer impact

Responsibilities

Work closely with both product teams and platform teams to build interconnected and scalable solutions
Work both within and across product teams to enable them to produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity
Help shape the product infrastructure used by Rippling
Design and develop high-quality software products, driving architectural decisions and overseeing the complete product delivery lifecycle
Coordinate cross-team collaborations, integrate customer feedback into the product engineering roadmap, and drive successful delivery execution
Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Architect and build the product infrastructure for the Talent Management suite of products
