Doma Technology offers solutions for lenders, real estate professionals, title agents, and homeowners that make closings vastly simpler and more efficient, reducing cost and increasing customer satisfaction. The Senior Software Engineer will be based in San Francisco and drive this mission.

Your day-to-day involves writing software to programmatically retrieve data from third-party APIs, using Python and Typescript to integrate against internal AI services. You will develop features that leverage domains like Title Insurance Underwriting and Document Processing while ensuring proper automated testing.

Requirements

Three years of experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
Experience with cloud providers, particularly Azure.
Proficiency with development tools including Github, Circle CI, and VSCode.
Experience integrating against third-party APIs and AI services.
Experience with web application development using Postgres and RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Extend data retrieval by writing software to programmatically retrieve data from third-party APIs.
Write code to transfer order data between systems with multiple interfaces.
Utilize Python and Typescript to integrate against AI services and create web applications backed by Postgres DB and RabbitMQ.
Leverage domains including Title Insurance Underwriting, Document Processing, and Data Management.
Write code for appropriate automated testing and integrate testing into CI/CD toolset.
Submit code for peer review and adjust based on feedback.
Develop new features and enhancements to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance.
