About this role

Productboard is looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Go-To-Market team. This role evolves the Sales Engineer function for engineers who want to do more than demo software. You are embedded in the field working alongside prospects and customers to solve real problems.

You own the outcome from first discovery call through live value-generating deployment. Drive discovery, architect solutions, and run proofs-of-concept across the core platform and Productboard Spark. Close the loop between customer needs and what the Product team builds next.

Requirements

  • Experience running technical discovery and proofs-of-concept in complex sales cycles
  • Strong ability to architect solutions and validate API and architecture fit for enterprise customers
  • Track record of synthesizing customer feedback into product requirements
  • Comfort presenting and demoing AI-first platform capabilities to executive stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles through deep technical discovery and alignment of Productboard capabilities to customer objectives.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and solution briefings that connect capabilities directly to customer strategic problems.
  • Own all technical aspects of the sales cycle including scoping and running PoCs, wiring integrations, responding to RFPs, and validating API and architecture fit.
  • Act as Productboard's eyes and ears in the field by synthesizing patterns across prospects and customers into actionable product feedback.
  • Engage at the executive level and represent the company on global stages as the most technical presence in the sales cycle.
