About this role

We're building a liquid market for GPU offtake, de-risking the largest infrastructure build-out in history. As AI scales, compute becomes available only to those who can take on significant financial risk, and we aim to change that.

In this role, you will develop the compute delivery platform that powers our offtake market, integrating with orchestration software managing virtual machines on cutting-edge HPC hardware. You'll work on novel systems that translate marketplace contracts into hardware allocations.

Day to day, you will build user-facing APIs that connect control plane primitives with our market, design scheduling algorithms, and extend the interface between orchestration services and hypervisors for new VM provisioning capabilities. You'll cut through ambiguity to ship fast.

You will join a high-agency engineering team that values rapid iteration and technical depth. This is an opportunity to solve large-scale distributed scheduling problems while working on next-generation infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Engineer who cuts through ambiguity to ship fast.
  • Experienced in a systems programming language (C, C++, Rust).
  • Understands command and control patterns (control loops, reconciliation, state management).
  • Designed data models in SQL and implemented corresponding APIs (gRPC, REST).
  • Comfortable translating product ideas into design proposals and iterating on feedback.
  • Experience with Rust (bonus).
  • Previously worked at or founded a startup (bonus).
  • Experience working on large-scale distributed scheduling problems (bonus).

  • Implement data models in SQL and expose them via gRPC and REST APIs.
